Born as a dreamer and dreaming even further, the joy of songwriting has finally conquered the doubt and fear of publishing and has now created the space to bring more songs into the world. Whether one person hears it or countless people – for me, the creative process is what counts. I’m motivated by hooklines, surprising harmonic twists and I like to spend my free time in flow at the piano.

My songs try to unite two sides of my person – so far rather unplanned but nevertheless imposing themselves again and again: the love and enthusiasm for life, for which swing often has to serve, and the suffering in life or also being happily out of tune, as melancholy describes it. I call this style “melancholic popswing”.

If I manage not only to translate my own feelings into music, but also to elicit a certain mood from the listeners – then my music has achieved everything there is to achieve.
